Update 6th April 2010 I've just gone through the list again to check for quality. The following have been removed as they no longer appear to work.

email2sms.ru - sent a test message, it never arrived.
gizmosms.com - the domain name looks like it's not being renewed.
text4free.net - They want to charge me £5 to read the message. SCAM!
